Yes, we all survived the day! Oh, I knew we would, but it is just so hard to leave that sweet baby girl. I have been SOOOO blessed to be home with her for the first 7+ months of her life. Tracy, her day care provider will be very good with Julia.
Mommy dropped Julia off at 7:15 this morning with a pack of diapers, wipes, a couple changes of clothes, 2 bottles and milk. Tracy and Mommy talked for a few minutes while Mommy gave Julia some more snuggles. Mommy passed Julia on to Tracy while saying bye-bye to her baby girl. No tears were shed by Mommy or Julia. Amazing, I know!
Tracy reported that Julia only took one 1 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour and 15 minute nap around noon. She played (but mostly watched and wondered) about the 3 little boys that are in the day care with her. She played on the exersaucer, played with rattles, blocks, Little People and listened to stories and music.
Mommy picked Julia up around 3:15 after she was done with work for the day. She was so happy to see her little girl and Julia even gave Mommy a big smile when she saw her.
Tomorrow, Daddy will drop Julia off and Mommy will pick her up after work. That is how it will normally work. Then Julia will be home with Mommy for the rest of the week. Next week she goes to day care 3 days.
