Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We just love our little Valentine!  Julia made heart sugar cookies with the other kids at daycare and they got to decorate the cookies, too.  She even brought another one home to have as a treat later!  Julia got to look at her nice cards from her grandparents and Great-Grandma Orpha and open some Valentine's gifts! What a lucky girl!

You might notice that Julia got a little boo-boo under her eye, nothing major, just a scrape.

We are looking forward to having Grandpas and Grandmas here soon as daycare!
 IT WILL BE SOOOOOO FUN!!!

I couldn't resist throwing this pics in the post... what a difference a year makes! It is amazing how much she has grown!

Our Little Caterpillar is One!

Julia turned one on January 7!
She is 22 lbs. 9 oz and 30.5 inches tall.
We celebrated on January 12 with Grandparents at our house (it was a bummer that Garrett, Cilla and the boys had car trouble and Paul and Brieann live across the country!).  We had a great time with our "Hungry Little Caterpillar!"

When Julia woke up on Saturday morning she got to play with her new kitchen from Mommy and Daddy!
What are you looking for Julia?   She loves opening on all the doors and playing with all the kitchen pieces.

Jeff and I made a giant ruler to keep track of Julia's height as she gets older!

She wore her Hungry Little Caterpillar outfit for her party.  It is the cutest little tutu.

Julia likes her Cabbage Patch doll's bottle, too!

Wow, this little girl has lots of gifts to open.

Check out Julia's shirt!

Julia likes to crawl up the stairs when ever she gets the chance!

She had fun with her gifts!

She clapped when she saw this one!

Oh, what fun!

I had fun decorating with the theme!  Here is the balloon Hungry Caterpillar.

After the Hungry Caterpillar eats it's way through everything in a week she turns in to a beautiful butterfly in the Eric Carle book.

The food...

Some of the things the Hungry Caterpillar eats!

The cake... the head was just for Julia!

We can't believe she is ONE!  Where did the time go!  We just love our little peanut so much.  She gives hugs and kisses now, too.

Grandpa and Grandma Lee (they made the sign!)

Grandpa and Grandma Rudebusch
Digging into the eyes first as she tries to figure out what it is!

Getting a little messy! Perfect!

Lick those lips, Julia!

Do you want some, Grandpa?

A few crumbs made it to her lap... Gus was trying to help clean up the crumbs.

Beep, Beep!  Julia driving her new car!

Spaghetti and Baths go together!

I can't belive our little girl is already eating table foods.  Tonight was her first night eating spaghetti and she thought it was AWESOME!

This is the before...

During...

YUM!

AND after....  then off to the bathtub!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends. We were able to see many of our family members and spent time with Julia's grandpas and grandmas.

First, we went to Aunt Susan's house for the Didrikson family Christmas (Sunday night). There were lots of kids there this year!  Gavin was the oldest of the great-grandkids that were there.
Here are a bunch of them playing together in the kitchen.

Jonas and Julia

Santa even came to Susan's to visit with everyone.  Julia was still not sure what to think of that guy.

Gavin was so good with Santa.  He made sure to tell Santa that he would be at Grandpa and Grandma Lee's for Christmas.

The Lee family with Santa.

Julia has started to play with her hair when she is tired.  There were a lot of late nights for Miss Julia, but she did really well.

Mommy, Julia and Daddy at Emmett's house for the Lee family Christmas after the Christmas Eve service at Concordia.

The cousins playing with toys before we open gifts at the Lee Christmas!

Julia just loved all her dolls that she got for Christmas!  It is so cute when she gives them hugs and kisses!

The Lee Boys ready to open gifts from Santa!

Julia didn't quite know what to do with all her gifts!

She did love all the paper, boxes and bows!

The grandkids had to help Grandma Lee open her big gift!

Thank you Santa, for all the nice gifts!

Julia decided to climb on the presents at Grandma and Grandpa Rudebusch's house so she could get to the tree! : )

Wow, that is a lot of gifts to open!

Wow, this makes noise when I push the buttons!

Thank you everyone for the very nice gifts! We were very spoiled by our family!
It was wonderful to spend time with everyone! What a blessing it is to be able to spend precious time with family.  It goes so fast.

We enjoyed some time at home over a long weekend before we are back to work tomorrow.  It was nice to have some time to put away gifts, wash clothes and organize/clean the house a bit!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  We hope 2013 is good to you!
