Thanks for everything! Jeff is BACK!

We missed Daddy terribly while he was away in Thailand.  We were so happy to have him come home safely on Saturday afternoon.

We were fortunate to have my parents come down and spend time with Julia and I.  It kept the nights and weekends from getting so long without Jeff home.  They were a huge help, too.  I loved that dinner was in the oven when I got home from work! : )  Thanks so much Mom and Dad!
She was one happy girl with her Grandma and Grandpa around.

Great Aunt Eva gave Julia this beautiful porcelain doll named Pamela.  Pamela is the name of my mom's sister that passed away when she was a little girl.  What a special gift.
Julia loved sitting in Grandma's lap watching movies and playing games on her iPad.

Grandpa was good at entertaining Julia.  She led him around all over the place by the hand.

 Jeff made some new friends!

"What are you looking at?"
"Raff"  - that is what Julia calls them.

Jeff being Jeff, again.  Read the red sign...

What nap?

So, Julia's morning nap time is now starting to become "quiet time."  Sometimes she sleeps at home during this time, but other times she is just in her crib relaxing! : )  (She usually sleeps at daycare in the morning still.)

Well, the other day Jeff and I could hear her talking to herself quite a bit.  She also likes to jump in her crib sometimes!  We finally went to see what she was up to and saw that she had taken out the majority of what was in the top drawer of her changing table.  Silly girl!

We have since moved the changing table a few more inches away from the crib!

"Who" is the cutest little owl???

Julia, of course!

We had a very nice evening on Halloween.  Jeff, Julia and I went to the local nursing home for trick or treating.  What a great stop!  The residents seemed to really enjoy it and Julia got A LOT of candy.  Julia really got the hang of it quickly.  She was pretty insistent on taking the candy from their hand so she could put it in her pumpkin bucket herself!

On the way back home she was also very insistent that she hold her pumpkin with all of her candy in it.  She took each piece out one and a time.  She would say "this," say "no" and then set it aside.  I guess she was looking for something specific!

We went home for a bit and Skyped with Grandma Lee and Grandma Rudebusch until it was time to go out in our neighborhood.  She enjoyed quite a few suckers and some chocolate, too.  Yum!

Then we went out in our neighborhood.  She had quite a bit of fun going from door to door.  She carried her HEAVY pumpkin the entire way.

Fall is in the Air (or is it!?)

It is over 70 degrees again this week and it is the beginning of October.  It is beginning to look more like fall every day with the leaves changing color.  I enjoy noticing the changes to the leaves when I drive to and from work.

We were happy to have the Rudebuschs at our house the other weekend. It was fun to hang out.  We went on a hayride out to a cabin that belongs to a member of our church.  It was a beautiful afternoon to be outside.

Bath Time!

Julia loves bath time!  One of her many words is "bath!"

Here are a couple of pics we took recently...

September is here...

The football season has officially started.  Julia and Daddy had their AP jersey's on, but it didn't seem to help the Vikings win the game.
Julia is getting so good at giving great hugs.  Here she is ready to wrap her arms around her daddy's neck.  Gotta love it!

Fair Week

Wow, how can it be the end of July already.  Time flies when you are having fun, I guess.
We spent an extra long weekend up in Roseau for the Roseau County Fair.

Julia had her very first hair cut... the before.

Bev cut her hair and Julia did a pretty good job of sitting there.

 What a big girl!

At the fair!  Julia enjoyed playing in the soybean pit.

Julia's favorite ride... the cars. She went with cousins Gavin and Carson on Thursday night and all by herself on Friday.

Julia also loved the big slide.

She went on a roller coaster, the Merry Go Round and the Ferris Wheel, but they were not nearly as exciting for her.

Ready, Set, Go! (With Garrett, Cilla and the kids, too!)

Happy Birthday Grandma Lee!

The kids playing the piano!

Julia LOVES to be outside.

My sweetie!
