We have been very busy this weekend... ripping up sod, digging holes, planting shrubs and replanting hostas, making a border with brick and laying rock. Now everything just needs to grow!!! It sure was a beautiful weekend to be outside! Summer is coming! Now I just need to get some flowers for my shepard's hook and pots.

Gus really likes the new plants. He has tried to eat a couple leaves. Naughty puppy. The shrubs in the front look a little small right now... give them time!
The north side of the house (we did this on Sunday)... we ran out of rock so we will have to finish this later.

We planted a rose bush in the corner by the garage. Hopefully it does well. It is called Grandma's Roses. : )
