The beginning...

4th of July Weekend

Gus was pretty exhausted after a very fun weekend.

What a cutie! Gavin is totally into giving high fives!

We love going up to Orin and Carolyn's for the 4th every year! Gavin had a great time running around and sitting in the big chair.

There was some crazy looking skies on Saturday night.

We knew there was some bad weather over Lake of the Woods so we went to Lake Bronson so we could have some time on the boat. Jeff enjoyed driving the boat with the new motor and Gus enjoyed being with all of us on the boat.

He looks pretty happy to be on the boat!

Gavin loves anything that has wheels!

Mom, Gus and I went for a walk down by the river in Hutchinson. It was a beautiful evening.

Gus loves it when people sit in the green chair so he can sit with them.

Steph and Andrew's Wedding 6.18.10

We had a great time at Steph and Andrew's wedding this weekend! Steph looked beautiful in her wedding dress.

Landscaping Project

Landscaping Project 2010

We have been very busy this weekend... ripping up sod, digging holes, planting shrubs and replanting hostas, making a border with brick and laying rock. Now everything just needs to grow!!! It sure was a beautiful weekend to be outside! Summer is coming! Now I just need to get some flowers for my shepard's hook and pots.

Gus really likes the new plants. He has tried to eat a couple leaves. Naughty puppy. The shrubs in the front look a little small right now... give them time!


The north side of the house (we did this on Sunday)... we ran out of rock so we will have to finish this later.

We planted a rose bush in the corner by the garage. Hopefully it does well. It is called Grandma's Roses. : )

Happy Birthday Jeff!

We were all bundled up for the Saturday afternoon game. The blanket came in very handy! We were ten rows from the field. (Jeff got this jersey for his birthday, too!)
